Made my bed and cleaned my room (sorta) but no ladies came to lie in it. So I broke my promise about staying inside my room at all times.

A girlfriend of a room-mate showed up at my door and asked: "Why are you wearing a pink hat?" I really didnapos;t know. She invited me to the bar (Jane Bond) with the other people in the house who were going. It became this weird nexus where I ran into a bunch of unlikely people who I knew and who somehow knew each other.

Somehow (it may have involved three pitchers of beer) the lot of us going to talking about stuffs. Apparently some Torontoites find the suburbans as beautifully fucked up as I find Torontoites, with all their jumping into culture as if it meant something. Just as screwy in the head. We also talked about how awesome Kitchener/Waterloo is compared to what it by all rights should be.

I was talking about how I enjoy meeting the misfits I meet in GLOW and raves and such and the girlfriend offered to lead me to more if I invite her to the next rave. Which I did. She and her girlfriend, one of whom is an oldskool Vancouver/Toronto raver since 14 and the other wishes she was.

So yeah, yet another really interesting person who Iapos;m meeting as theyapos;re on the verge of leaving for Toronto forever. She invited me and the rest of the housemates back to Toronto and for the first time I actually want to accept. Iapos;d probably get in over my head with her real misfits (vs. My rather tame and lovable ones) and cry, but everyoneapos;s got to climb the next hill right?
