pecompact unpacker
I was diagnosed with UC almost six years ago, and keep relatively good control over my condition with a heavy dose of asacol. I have had some random "possibly-linked-to-UC" symptoms such as eye and joint inflammation over the years. However, lately i have been having problems with sensation in my toes and fingers. At first it was pretty transient and i attributed it to possibly pinching a nerve depending on the way i was sitting, etc. Recently though it has began happening much more frequently (and for seemingly no reason) and with more intensity. I was reading online that because IBD can cause B12 deficiency, this might be an explanation. I do take vitamin B supplements, but i donapos;t really know where my numbers are at and i do suffer from extreme fatigue. I will be contacting my GP and/or gastro as soon as i am back in town (away from home on business right now) but was wondering if any of you had similar issues? am i losing my mind or does this happen pretty frequently with us IBD folk?
